Shemaroo Releases Shraddhanjali Nanda – a song compilation on DVD

Nanda was the daughter of the popular actor-director of 1930s & 40s, Master Vinayak.  She made her film debut at the age of five as ‘Baby Nanda’ and as an actress gave a number of hits to the industry. 

Nanda had no reservations of acting opposite new heroes and sportingly signed films with newcomers like Shashi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Manoj Kumar and later with Rajesh Khanna, Sanjay Khan, Deb Mukherjee and Navin Nischal. Shashi Kapoor acknowledges Nanda as one of his mentors who willingly signed half a dozen films with him when other top heroines of the day had refused to work with him.
