Minister of State (I/C) Youth Affairs and Sports Shri Vijay Goel is in Goa to be the Chief Guest at the Opening Ceremony of the BRICS U – 17 Football Tournament. A Government of India initiative the BRICS U – 17 Football Tournament will be played among the BRICS countries namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
The tournament will be commencing this afternoon at Goa. Bambolim stadium, Goa will witness two matches every alternate day. The final Match of the tournament is scheduled on 15th October which will be held at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, Fatorda.
