Everybody was shocked to see the bonding between Paan Bahar and Pierce Brosnan, famous for his James Bond roles. Seems he was biting more than he could chew. After the backlash for appearing in a tobacco-product Ad, Brosnan has accused Paan Bahar of violating the contract by “falsely” portraying him as brand ambassador the entire product range, including tobacco containing “mouth freshner”. He has demanded that he be removed from the Ad campaign.
Brosnan in a statement has offered “heartfelt apologies” for causing offence, if any.He went on to accuse Paan Bahar for misleading people that he endorses the brand.
“Having endured, in my own personal life, the loss of my first wife and daughter as well as numerous friends to cancer, I am fully committed to supporting women’s healthcare and research programs that improve human health and alleviate suffering,” the statement said.
Brosnan said that he was made to believe that he will endorsing just one product, a breath freshner/tooth whitener that was “all-natural containing neither tobacco, supari, nor any other harmful ingredient.”
The ‘Die Another Day’ star added that he had no knowledge that he will be made to endorse a product that can harm health. Tobacco products in India come with a warning.
