A mobile bank will bring cash to your door

The note ban by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to curb black money has forced people to stand for hours in lines outside banks and ATMs for withdrawing, depositing and exchanging old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000.

The cash crisis has taken has over 30 lives till date. In these tough times, Canara Bank has taken a step to bring back smiles on face of common man.

On Sunday Canara Bank rolled out its mobile ATM, so that people could withdraw money easily without standing in endless queues.
On Sunday evening, the blue color mobile ATM van at MG Road helped around 800 customers withdraw Rs worth 8 lakhs.

“I was taking a stroll in the evening on MG Road and found that most of the ATMs were running out of cash. So, I got our mobile ATM, which serves Bengaluru Rural customers, pressed into service.” Canara Bank General Manager told Deccan Herald.

The bus that arrived at 5.30 pm and people were so happy withdrawing money in such short duration and without standing in long queues.

Mr. Chiniwar also said that by Tuesday or Wednesday, sufficient cash will reach banks and ATMs and that will reduce the insane rush of people seen every day outside banks and ATMs.
