Lisbon:
Portugal national football team coach Fernando Santos has announced squad for the European qualifier against Latvia on November 13 for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The squad included Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Andre Gomes, while Pepe was excluded due to injury.
The list, which was unveiled on Thursday, also included the Valencia duo of Joao Cancelo and Luis Nani, reports Efe.
Portugal holds the second position in Group B with six points; three points behind leaders Switzerland.
The squad:
Goalkeepers: Rui Patricio (Sporting Lisbon), Anthony Lopes (Lyon), Marafona (Braga).
Defenders: Nelson Semedo (Benfica), Joao Cancelo (Valencia), Luis Neto (Zenit Saint Petersburg), Jose Fonte (Southampton), Bruno Alves (Cagliari), Raphael Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund), Antunes (Dynamo Kyiv).
Midfielders: William Carvalho (Sporting Lisbon), Danilo Pereira (Porto), Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich), Adrien Silva (Sporting Lisbon), Andre Gomes (Barcelona), Joao Mario (Inter de Milan) Pizzi (Benfica), Bernardo Silva (Monaco).
